Stamping Die Maintenance Methods
(1) Mold Loosening: The movement of the punch or die exceeds the one-sided clearance. Adjust the combined clearance.
(2) Punch Die Tilt: The straightness of the punch or die is incorrect, or there is foreign matter between the die plates, preventing the plates from lying flat. Reassemble or grind for correction.
(3) Die Plate Deformation: The hardness or thickness of the die plate is insufficient, or it is deformed due to external impact. Replace with a new die plate or correct the disassembly and assembly method.
(4) Die Base Deformation: The die base thickness is insufficient or the force is uneven, causing deviation in the straightness of guide posts and guide sleeves. Grind for correction, re-cast with plastic steel, replace the die base, or balance the force.
(5) Punch Die Interference: Check if the punch die size and position are correct, if there is any deviation in the upper and lower die positioning, if loosening occurs after assembly, if the press accuracy is insufficient, or if the die frame is misaligned.
(6) Punch Shear Deflection: The punch strength is insufficient, the large and small punches are too close, lateral forces are unbalanced, causing the punch to tilt. Strengthen the guiding and protective function of the stripping plate, enlarge the punch, shorten the small punch, increase the heel length for earlier support and guidance, and pay attention to the feeding length.
